Candiss West Illustrator and Author

Candiss West has been writing and drawing for as long as she can remember. Art has always been her passion. She began investing herself into her artwork as a prospective career path at the age of 14, won contests and even received praise after applying to work on her favorite graphic novels, Elfquest.

    Candiss' artwork has been used in various anthologies and picture books. Her most recent work can be found in Pat Hatt's The Out of Tune Moon.

 



 

Today she is a wife and home-educating mother to four children. She devotes what spare time from the family she has to her passion.

Her writing has been published in anthologies as well where she writes under the penname Leetah East.
